The body kit in the photo is by a Japanese company called GP Sports it is their most track-styled and orientated kit called G-Sonic Evolution. They also have other styles. The front bar you see in my avatar is a GP Sports G-Sonic Zero One COPY.

GP Sports Website HERE

The most common and loved kit is the OEM Type X body kit. What's great about OEM is that it is plastic and can handle bumps and scrapes a lot better than fibreglass can. Fitment is also easy breezy.

Other kits I see around a lot are Vertex kits, URAS kits, DMAX kits etc. The "current trend" for street cars is subtle and simple, a lot of people like rocking OEM kits because it looks so simple and awesome with usually more room to go MOAR LOOOWZ. One reason I chose the GP Sports kit you see in my avatar is due to its similarity with the Type X front bar. Hope this helps buddy. ;)

Also would like to add, a nice set of wheels with great fitment and coilovers for some low will do a lot more for your overall look and handling than spending money on a bodykit + painting costs. It pays to plan your build to help direct funds to things that will be more bang for the buck, a bodykit doesn't really do much except maaaybe give you more downforce which is irrelevent in day to day street duties. Where coilovers will give you better handling characteristics over factory (usually) and aftermarket wheels gives potential to run better and wider tyres.

Quite confident they're trolling.

Only a handful of people still think a Veilside kit is cool. Special people, with special parking permits.

Don't know why people are always knocking on Veilside soo much. Yeah its not the best looking kit that was ever made but it was back then. Veilside are pioneers of body form and design and were always on top trying to be above and beyond in which they achieved and still are. Trends come and go and for a while Veilside kits were the in thing but atleast when they were in they were built to a high quality and not bullshit Chinese copies that never fit. Nothing fits better than OEM but Veilside were pretty close.

Just saying. I still respect Veilside as a tuning house and don't understand why others have lost it but when I see their genuine kits and rims, I still feel happy inside because it reminds me when things were proper and not Chinese bullshit. If Veilside still modified performance vehicles, would you knock on them still?

In terms of kits, I'd go OEM or genuine Japanese, not knock off copies.

/end rant.

so were mullets... doesn't mean we can't hate them. I hated Veilside back then too. Their kits were ugly, and the one style suits all approach to body "styling" was as unimaginative as any chinese copy-shop.

BN, Vertex, Uras etc is still one style suits all, of course with subtle differences which Veilside also had. I'm not arguing that they are the bees knees in body design as everyone has their own acquired taste or how most nowadays would say, "to each their own". I'm stating that their quality is above and beyond, their design critiques are "dare to be different" and that alone is enough for me to still respect their work.

If you hated them then, then that's a different story however the masses liked Veilside as they liked 'sex spec' and with that it was a trend but for the masses who liked these trends to say they're shit and ugly and the biggest abomination are just sheep and being led by newer trends.

Anyway, this thread is about 180s and bodykits, not how gay Veilside are.

1 style suits all arguement is pointless as Pooh said as all the companies have the one style fits all thing going on.
