  1. Hi all, I’m hoping someone can help. Mom currently fitting an S15 SR20DET from an australian car into a 510. I’ve gone over and over my wiring to find a fault. All of the power wires are connected 36 - ignition power (checked) 46,109 - battery power (checked) 38,47 - power from ECM relay (checked) 4 - trigger seems to be operating the relay fine 6,13,39,48,107,108,116 are all earthed. Ive gone through the list of wire pin outs at the ECm and checked each wire individually. All of the wires that I can check without the engine running are within spec except for 7 - 12.1v (data link approximately 0.0v) 15 - 0.00v (data link 3-9v) 28 - no wire 106 - flashes 0.7v for a split second and goes to 0.00v (fuel pump relay 0-1.0v for one second after turning ignition on. More than one second after turning ignition on 11-14v) I found I had to move 106 to 104 for a JDM ECU, so I did that and the result is the same. i have tried to check it with a scan tool, but I’m guessing due to no voltage at the data link, it’s not talking to the scanner. are there any other wires that need to be swapped going from ADM to JDM ECU? is there a way of checking if the ECU is actually JDM? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hey guys, thought I'd start a build thread more for myself to keep track of my progress with the car and post results of mods verified at the track with times, dyno sheets etc. On the weekend I picked up a 100% stock (down to the headunit) S15 Spec S Silvia. I had a few specifications for the car when looking and they was that it had to be Blue, stock or as close to as possible, non-sunroof and straight. The car I picked is a one owner Blue, Spec S, automatic, Australian delivered 2002 S15. It has 180,000kms, the interior is in very good condition, the engine seems in good condition and the exterior is in average/good condition. I paid $8000 for the car however it is in Perth and I am in Adelaide so the car is currently on a truck on it's way here. The flights to Perth were $500 and the truck to get it here was $400. I bought the car from a 65 year old lady who was the first owner in 2002 and bought it as a midlife crisis (her explaination). I don't have any great photos of it but I will upload some as soon as it gets here and try to keep the thread updated as I do things to the car or as the car goes to the track. My plan for the car is to run a basic setup and try to get as much time out at the track as possible, the car will be used for grip and not drift so progress should be easy to see in the form of track times at my local track, Mallala. For now, here are some photos I have of the car that I got sent before I flew to Perth to view it.

    Want to buy S15 I'm after an adm with km under 130xxx and log books to prove it's not wound back! prefer close to stock but let me know what you have! Now it makes 360rwkw. I was going to upgrade my fuel pump but found out it already has a Bosch 044 intank fuel pump.
